NEW ADDITIONS!

Welcome to future therapy horses, Mango and Falina! They are both 9 month old fillies which came to us this fall.  Mango is a red roan with a big, wide stripe on her face and Falina is a beautiful bay roan with a black mane and tail.  Watch for more posts as they progress through their training.

Horses aren't the only new additions!  This fall we extended the barn area, upgraded fencing, and moved some water lines to make everything run more efficiently and provide more safety for the horses.  The new barn space means each horse now has a separate stall area to come in out of the rain.  We're excited to see our therapy center grow!  Come see us!

Savannah Stables & Speech Therapy Center - your place for all things equine and communication related! Specializing in remediation of communication disorders for children and adults with four footed therapy friends, we put the 'fun' back in learning to communicate effectively!




Utilizing equine partners we rehabilitate and expand communication avenues while having FUN, doing exciting, functional activities that have meaning! WHY NOT learn a new hobby while working to improve speech and language functions? WHY NOT enjoy therapy sessions rather then loathe them? Especially for kids, it sure is more fun to 'play' than 'work', and you certainly learn more that way too!



And for those days when it's just too hot or cold, rainy or windy, there's other fun ways to target communication skills. A climate controlled 'traditional' therapy area is readied for the next customer.

It's SPRINGTIME in Texas!!!! And that means plenty of outdoor activities and adventures! And the best way to see and experience it all is from a HORSES BACK! :)

Offering speech therapy sessions utilizing horses as the focus of therapeutic activities. Riding lessons are also available on a limited basis for both English and Western disciplines as well as complete horse care and management. What are you waiting for???!!!

Our focus includes both equine recreational activities for pleasure and therapeutic treatments facilitated by equine partners.
